I started wearing wigs to hide my terrible, plain and damaged ginger hair. Then I discovered subcultures such as Lolita and pastel goth, I wanted bright hair because I was going through an emo phase, so the first wig I bought was bright blue.
Now I wear wigs to express my style and show a giant middle finger to gender stereotypes. Boys can be mermaids too!
